Saturday the 10th brought a big day shopping at Ikea in Palo Alto. San Jose and Palo Alto are only about 35 miles away and so we drove up over the mountains to get a new sofa and dining table. What a crazy place Ikea is. Packed with people, and kids, and every imaginable household item. We got a 'L' shaped sofa that turns into guest bed and a really cool table that can be used for homework, eating, crafts etc.
Unfortunately, not all this would fit into the truck so I to make two trips, but we got everything put together last night and the house is coming together slowly, but surely.
Forgot to post that on the 9th we stopped by Nan's new office and everyone was so happy to meet us-it was impressive. They even had a big sign in Nan's actual office that welcomed her. She starts Monday.
I'm at Norma Jean's Coffee Shop now as we are still trying to decide on our internet solution for the house. On the one hand it is good to get out and about to get one's internet, but sometimes you just want to look up something quick from the house. Maybe iPhones today :-)
