Big Sur

Saturday the 13th we had big plans to see the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo State Park but the wee ones were in no mood for adventure so we came home and they played for hours in a tree outside our town home - simple pleasures.  But on Sunday the 14th we met up with our friends the Hunnicutts and traveled south to Big Sur.  What a place Big Sur is! Steep cliffs, deep oceans, massive waves crashing against the rocks - it was spectacular!!  We went to a nice bakery for lunch, spent time at McCay Cove Falls and at Andrew Molera State Park.  After some good outdoor fun we drove into Monterey for dinner at the Mucky Duck Pub.  Santa Cruzin! continues -
