Tree Trimming

We have a TREE!! And it is decorated with EVERY ornament known to the McAden - Spann household. And some that aren't known. Still, the Christmas spirit is around and the kids love it. We watched the movie "Polar Express" tonight which isn't as good as the book, but the kids seemed to like it nonetheless.

A few of the many ornaments provided by Mimi - thank you!!

Bingo night at Mar Vista was simple hometown fun. Mills wanted to win (but didn't).

Sara and Rebecca, not a great picture, but the photographer has no special training.

Mom and Mills - two peas in a pod.

Our grandiose plans to attend the Santa Cruz parade and then the flotilla never materialized as the kids wanted to laze around the house today. We thought this best after a few weeks of being out of their routine and so we'll save these fun things for next year. We did visit the Aptos Farmer's Market today which is rapidly becoming the Saturday tradition. Nan and Graham got blueberry scones that were to die for! Don't forget this when you come visit.

We also watched the LMC Bobcats Men's Soccer team play in the national championship final and although they lost 1-0, it was quite impressive for such a small college (the smallest in Division II according to the CBS announcers) to be number two in the country.

More Santa Cruzin! tomorrow. TTFN (ta ta for now)
